Loic has steadily been building up a following over the last few years due to his extensive gig schedule in Cornwall and The South West.
He is a singer songwriter with a large catalogue of original music which he sprinkles with a few classics during his gigs, these songs are often the less obvious choices and are a refreshing change from the average standard covers.
Firëbird rose from the ashes of ‘The Blitz’, arriving fully formed and kicking ass in late 2016. They have already become recognised as the most significant new introduction to the music scene in Plymouth over the last year and the old guard are looking over their shoulders nervously at the rapid ascent of this thunderous act. Fresh from playing a number of summer festivals around the South West, including Paignton, Polperro and Plymouth, the Firëbird boys are bringing their unique brand of entertainment to crowds all over the South West and beyond.
Comprising of twin guitars so dirty they should be triple-X rated, a drum and bass rhythm section solid enough to build a skyscraper on, sweeping synths able to transport the listener to magical destinations and a vocalist/front-man the country hasn’t seen the like of since Freddie, all wrapped in five part harmonies and blasted out with smoke, fire, blood and passion, a Firëbird show is truly an unforgettable and unrivalled experience. Playing exclusively music from the era that spawned them, these dedicated and rambunctious artists delve into the vast back catalogue of the 1980’s and, to the unfettered delight of their audience, are able to transport us back to an era where life was thrilling, glamorous and captivating. Pulling on a wide array of musical influences from hard rock to synth pop, everything is run through the mystical Firëbird rehearsal machine to ensure that the presentation is a joyful, ecstatic experience for the devoted, and ever increasing, crowd in attendance. Living proof that rock’n’roll will never die, Firëbird are THE band to ensure you don’t miss!
Firëbird are available for pub and club gigs, festivals, weddings, corporate events, private parties etc. If in doubt, send us an enquiry and we’ll be happy to help.

Pixie Witch is a Cornish covers band that is all about the fun of live music. We’ve been going for just over two years and in that time, we have worked on putting together an amazing selection of songs from the 60’s right the way up to present day, so there’s something for everyone. We have a great time up on stage but there’s nothing we like more than seeing the audience get down and have a boogie along with us.
We are 3 fun women who love to sing 1940’s style songs. We sing close harmonies with our own arrangements giving us an authentic sound and look.
Rob and Sue Ford bring close harmony singing and guitar and double bass playing together with their own songs and covers drawn from the last 30 years of folk and other musical influences. The songs range from commentary on topical issues through to material reflecting their own lives and those of people around them.
It is difficult to pin point one particular style since their set comprises of music with different tempos and feel ranging from traditional folk songs like ‘Spencer the Rover’, through to the jazzy feel of Sting’s Moon over Bourbon Street, and Van Morrison’s ‘Moondance’, via their own close harmony songs, to those with a little bit of reggae and blues thrown in for good measure. They don’t take themselves too seriously, enjoy a relaxed interaction with their audiences, and perform for the craic
The fledgling Paw formed in Febuary 2013 after founder member Ben decided to pull a band together with his pal’s, unfortunately Ben was the only whizz on the guitar! Steve was only just learning and they decided that Tony (a keen spoon player) was the natural choice for the Bass…. But they still didn’t have a front man so after a long search Paul “the voice” was approached, with his great vocal range and natural front man ability, we new he would relish showing off infront of an audience. Everyone got together round at Bens kitchen and had a bit of a jam… everything clicked and then came the long choosing of the band name and after many minuets and stupid names.. “Grizzly Paw” was bourn
We borrowed a drummer from another band and had our first gig in The Seven Stars Inn over in Stithians . From there we were hooked and practised till our fingers bled !! (and voices cracked!!) eventually with Ben’s leaving of the band we recruited local Guitar god Simon B on lead guitar duties and power house Jason “Jack hammer” W on the drums … the Grizzly Paw line up was finally complete …..
Originating from the deep south (of England), deep down in rainy Plymouth in the Westcountry comes a four-piece band with ukulele
Playing popular tunes with a Bluegrass twist, and a little bit of music which is modern-ish, singing our songs with a bit of sole, a genre that we call ‘Uke and Roll’.
We take ‘Ukegrass’ and ‘Uke and Roll’ to the masses ….. and have played many pubs, clubs and festivals, supporting bands on the regional scene – and in 2017 we had the privilege of supporting world renown musician Andy Eastwood at the Cornwall Ukulele festival.
Visit our Facebook page for more information.
The Ukeabillies consist of – Clive Wilkinson (Resonator uke), Gerard Judge (Harmonica and 8 string uke), Dan Richmond (Mandolin and Banjo), Adriana Van Helfteren (Double Bass).
